There is an all out campaign by radical feminists/progressives (who believe they know better how the rest of us ought to behave) and religious conservatives (see comments for radical feminists/progressives) to 'abolish' or 'eliminate' all prostitution around the world. Those who advocate this untenable position know full well what the consequences to such a policy would be, so we can't really say they are "unintended consequences" and give them the benefit of the doubt. These  abolitionists as they call themselves- although they are actually prohibitionists of the same caliber as those who forced  alcohol prohibition down our throats a century ago- use graphic imagery to persuade a gullible public that all prostitution involves violence and coercion, that no prostitute does this by choice and that the only way to save the poor prostitutes is to increase penalties for being the clients of prostitutes and also to continue to arrest and incarcerate prostitutes for their own good...

In this section, we will share with you the posters from their campaign and give you our take on their contemptible crusade. First up, a pitiful poster intended to make the viewer believe that prostitution equals violence:

What we say about this poster (the only part of the above poster that is true is that we do get locked up and they want to see to it that we continue to get locked up... oh yes, and we do get raped... by cops!):
